背面描述 The reverse features a bold left-facing bust of Soviet ace pilot Amet-Khan Sultan in his flying gear, wearing a leather helmet with goggles pushed up to the forehead and a flight jacket with harness straps rendered in fine relief detail. To the right of the portrait, a dynamic stylized composition of converging diagonal lines evokes the wing or tail fin of a high-speed aircraft, suggesting speed and aerial prowess. The legend АМЕТ-ХАН СУЛТАН is inscribed in an arc across the upper field, while the dates of his life, 1920–1971, appear to the right in the central field.

附加信息

Amet-khan Sultan was one of the most decorated Soviet fighter pilots of World War II, flying over 600 combat sorties and credited with 49 personal aerial victories plus 19 shared — a record that placed him among the top Soviet aces of the war. He was twice awarded Hero of the Soviet Union. Born in Alupka to a Lak father and Crimean Tatar mother, his identity became complicated after 1944, when Stalin deported the entire Crimean Tatar population by NKVD decree. Amet-khan himself was on active duty when his family was forcibly relocated to Central Asia.

He died in 1971 testing an experimental aircraft at Zhukovsky. Ukraine's decision to honor him reflects ongoing efforts to rehabilitate Crimean Tatar figures erased or marginalized under Soviet rule.
