Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Wilhelm I of Württemberg, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curled hair. The truncation of the bust is plain, without engraver's name or additional ornament. The circular legend reads WILHELM KOENIG VON WÜRTTEMB. and is bordered on both the inner and outer edges by a continuous beaded ring.
