Reverse description Central field features the auroch's head facing forward, the heraldic emblem of Moldavia, with prominent horns flanked by two stylised rosettes or floral ornaments at the sides, a five-pointed star above, and a small rosette below the chin, all enclosed within a dotted inner circle. The surrounding legend, in uncial Latin characters separated by Maltese cross stops, reads *MONETA*PET (Coin of Peter). The bold, stylised rendering of the auroch's head is characteristic of the Moldavian voivodal coinage of the mid-15th century.
