Reverse description A tall stepped pyramid dominates the central field, its apex surmounted by radiating sunbeams emanating from a point of light, symbolizing eternal glory. Two crowned heraldic shields — the electoral and ducal arms of Saxony — are affixed to the lower flanks of the pyramid on either side. A two-part legend in the field reads SOLA·GLORIOSA· to the left and QUÆ·IUSTA· to the right of the pyramid, translating as 'That alone is glorious which is just,' serving as a motto befitting the commemorative theme.
