| Beschrijving voorzijde | Two rampant lions passant guardant facing each other in heraldic opposition, rendered in the Gothic style typical of medieval Low Countries coinage. The lions are depicted with raised forelegs and stylized manes, separated by a vertical line through the center of the field. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the peripheral legend running between the inner and outer rims in uncial characters. The overall composition reflects the armorial tradition of the Duchy of Guelders. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A long cross pattee extends to the edge of the inner circle, dividing the field into four quarters. In the angles of the cross appear the initial letters A, n, R, and S in Gothic uncial script. At the center of the cross is a small shield bearing the arms of Gelderland. Two concentric legends, separated by a beaded circle, carry the reverse inscription in uncial characters, the whole presenting the classic groat-type layout widely employed in the Low Countries during the fifteenth century. |
