William V ruled Holland from 1354 until his mental incapacity became impossible to ignore, leading to his formal confinement in 1358 — yet coins continued to be issued in his name for years afterward, administered by his brother Albert acting as regent and guardian. This 1367–1368 issue falls squarely in that regency period, making the attribution to William nominally correct but politically hollow.
