Reverse description A long cross pattée extending to the inner circle divides the field into four quarters, each occupied by alternating charges: fleurs-de-lis and passant lions, referencing the arms of Burgundy and Flanders respectively. The cross terminals are stylized in the pattée form. The surrounding legend in uncial script is set between two concentric circles, and, consistent with the obverse die identification, the letter A throughout the legend is struck with a crossbar.
