Obverse description Displayed eagle with wings elevated and spread, head turned to sinister, surmounted by a small royal crown above the head; the eagle stands facing with talons gripping the base of the field, flanked below by the mintmaster initials G·L and C· on either side. Two small rosette ornaments appear at the lower left and right of the eagle. The circumferential legend reads FERD·D·G· SIC· REX· G·L C·, rendered in Roman capitals, with a milled border encircling the entire design.

Reverse description Four-line Latin inscription VT / COMMO / DIVS / (date) contained within an ornate oval cartouche in the Baroque style, featuring elaborate acanthus-scroll volutes flanking both sides, a fan-shell or palmette finial at the top, and a foliate base; the cartouche is surrounded by laurel sprigs. The entire composition is set within a plain field, enclosed by a milled border, with no peripheral legend.
