Obverse description Displayed crowned eagle with head turned to sinister, bearing on its breast an oval shield of quartered arms with a central escutcheon. The denomination is indicated by the value mark 'G - II' divided at lower left and right of the shield. The legend surrounding the eagle reads CAROLVS VI D ROM IMP D.V. V. CM C.II, identifying the issuer as Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI in his capacity as ruler of Sicily.
