| 正面描述 | A central oval intaglio vignette presents the Citadelle Laferrière (Citadelle Henri Christophe), the massive mountaintop fortress rendered in fine line engraving against a lightly shaded landscape, flanked at left and right by guilloche rosettes incorporating the numeral 2, all set over a multicolour underprint in pink and blue tones. The bank title appears in bold letterpress along the upper margin, with the denomination DEUX GOURDES in a decorative panel below the vignette. Three manuscript signature lines bearing the titles LE PRÉSIDENT, LE DIRECTEUR, and UN ADMINISTRATEUR are arranged in the lower portion of the note. |

| 备注 |
The two-letter series codes — AH and AY — reflect the volume of notes printed across multiple delivery batches rather than separate issues. At over twelve million pieces, this was a high-volume print run for a denomination that circulated hard in a cash-dependent economy with limited banking infrastructure outside Port-au-Prince.
ABNC's contract printing for Haiti extended across decades of political turbulence, and this note was produced during the consolidation of François Duvalier's personal authoritarian grip — a period when the Banque Nationale operated under severe constraints on its monetary independence.
