Obverse description Red and pink note with the Haitian national coat of arms at centre, flanked by numeral '2' medallions on either side within ornate guilloche underprint. The heading 'REPUBLIQUE D'HAÏTI' arches across the top, with the republican motto 'LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ' inscribed below the arms. A text panel in French certifying the note's value appears in the lower field, above the signature lines for the Délégué des Finances, Délégué du Commerce, and Délégué du Conseil d'État.

Reverse description Printed entirely in red on white paper, the reverse is dominated by a large central lozenge-shaped guilloche vignette bearing the anti-counterfeiting warning text in bold letterpress. The numeral '2' appears in ornate cartouches at left and right, with the denomination 'DEUX GOURDES' repeated in the lower left and lower right corners, all set within an elaborate guilloche border.
