| 正面描述 | Bare-headed bust of King Frederik VI facing left, rendered in a neoclassical portrait style with finely engraved curling hair. The truncation of the neck carries the engraver's initials I.C. (Johannes Conradsen). A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the portrait by a toothed or reeded inner border. The effigy is bold and naturalistic, occupying the majority of the coin's field. |

Frederik VI authorized a restructuring of Danish gold coinage in the late 1820s following the devastation of the state bankruptcy of 1813, which had wiped out the old Rigsbank and forced a complete monetary reorganization under the Speciedalerbank and, later, the Nationalbanken chartered in 1818. The 2 Frederiks d'Or was a prestige-denomination piece, struck in limited quantities for court use and larger transactions, not everyday commerce.
The Fr#286 designation places this squarely in Friedberg's continental gold series. Altona mint handled production for much of this run alongside Copenhagen.
