| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of King Frederik VI facing left, rendered in a neoclassical portrait style with finely engraved curling hair. The truncation of the neck carries the engraver's initials I.C. (Johannes Conradsen). A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the portrait by a toothed or reeded inner border. The effigy is bold and naturalistic, occupying the majority of the coin's field. |
