| Description du revers | A bold, unadorned right-facing bust of Ahmet Zogu, President of Albania, truncated at the neck and occupying the majority of the field in a modernist sculptural style characteristic of Italian Art Deco medallic art. The hair is rendered with fine parallel striations swept back from the forehead, and the strong facial profile is sharply delineated. The legend AMET ZOGU is inscribed in large spaced capitals around the periphery, split to either side of the effigy. The engravers' signatures G. ROMAGNOLI and A. MOTTI INC. appear in two lines at the base of the truncation. |
