| Obverse description | The Albanian double-headed eagle displayed at the center of the field, with wings fully spread and talons extended, rendered in high relief with finely detailed feathering. The word PROVA appears incuse above the eagle's heads, serving as the trial designation. The circumferential legend reads SHQIPNI - ALBANIA, separated by raised dots, while the denomination Fr.A 2 is inscribed in the lower field flanking the eagle's body. The date 1928 appears in the exergue below, accompanied by the R mintmark for the Rome Mint. |

| Reverse description | A bold, unadorned right-facing bust of Ahmet Zogu, President of Albania, truncated at the neck and occupying the majority of the field in a modernist sculptural style characteristic of Italian Art Deco medallic art. The hair is rendered with fine parallel striations swept back from the forehead, and the strong facial profile is sharply delineated. The legend AMET ZOGU is inscribed in large spaced capitals around the periphery, split to either side of the effigy. The engravers' signatures G. ROMAGNOLI and A. MOTTI INC. appear in two lines at the base of the truncation. |
