| Obverse description | A heraldic double-headed Albanian eagle displayed in high relief, standing upon a horizontal ground line at the lower field, with wings dramatically spread and head turned to the right. The denomination indicator 'Fr.' appears to the left of the eagle and the numeral '2' to the right, both at mid-field. The legend 'SHQIPNI' is inscribed in the lower field below the ground line, with 'ALBANIA' beneath it in smaller lettering, rendered in clean Roman capitals. The overall design is executed in the Italian Art Deco medallic tradition, with finely detailed feather work across the wings and body of the eagle. |
