| Obverse description | Blue letterpress note with a decorative floral and foliate guilloche border enclosing the central text. The issuing authority is inscribed across the upper field in two lines, with the large denomination inscription DEUX FRANCS in bold lettering below. A serial number appears beneath the denomination, followed by two signature lines for the Vice-President and an Adjoint. The municipal coat of arms of Abbeville is printed at the lower centre, with the denomination numeral 2 repeated in each corner.
