| Reverse description | Central device consisting of a forward-facing head of a waterbuck, a large African antelope, with prominent elongated horns framing a spread palm frond at the apex. To either side of the central effigy, a cowrie shell is depicted with a fish motif beneath, referencing the coastal and maritime character of the territory. The territorial denomination 2 FR.S appears in the field, with the issuing authority legend COTE FRANÇAISE DES SOMALIS arcing around the design. The composition integrates local African fauna and regional emblems in a restrained Art Deco aesthetic typical of Bazor's work. |
