The Arabic legend 'الدولة المغربية' (Al-Dawla Al-Maghribiya, 'The Moroccan State') curves along the upper periphery, while the bilingual Latin legend 'EMPIRE · CHERIFIEN' flanks the star on the left and right respectively, and '· MAROC ·' appears along the lower border. The design is executed in a clean, precise struck relief characteristic of the Monnaie de Paris, with a plain raised rim framing the field. |
