Reverse description Central field features the Grimaldi dynastic shield, displaying the heraldic lozenges of Monaco, set below the denomination and enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A thunderbolt mintmark, identifying the Poissy mint, appears to the left of the shield. The surrounding legend identifies the issuing authority and the conditions of redemption, with the face value expressed in full as BON POUR DEUX FRANCS. The inscription REMB. JUSQU'AU 31 XBRE 1926 specifies the redemption deadline of 31 December 1926, confirming the token-like emergency currency nature of this issue. The overall layout is symmetrical and typographically formal, consistent with French fiduciary coinage of the early twentieth century.
