Reverse description The denomination 2 Fr. is boldly inscribed in two lines at the centre of the field, with the date directly below. The central legend is framed by a decorative wreath composed of oak branches bearing acorns on the left and alpine rose (Alpenrose, Rhododendron ferrugineum) branches with blossoms on the right, the two sprays joined at the base by a tied ribbon. The mint mark B, for the Bern Mint, appears in the exergue below the wreath. A fine beaded inner border runs around the entire design.
