| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned royal cypher 'CH' (for Charlotte, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, r. 1919–1964), flanked and underscored by two stylised rosebush branches rendered in relief. The country name 'LUXEMBOURG' appears in the upper legend between two dot separators, and the engraver's name 'BONNETAIN' is inscribed along the lower arc of the legend.
