| Obverse description | Printed in dark blue-black on a cream ground with a salmon-red rectangular frame, the face carries a typeset text layout on a fine letterpress underprint of repeated issuer names. The denomination DEUX FRANCS is set in large bold type at centre, flanked by two circular guilloche medallions each bearing the numeral '2fr'. A circular dry-stamp vignette at centre shows a fortified tower with the legend CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MONTLUÇON-GANNAT, with spaces for the Treasurer's and President's manuscript signatures to either side. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in brown on plain paper with the same ornate typographic border as the face. The central field carries a block of letterpress text setting out the redemption conditions, with a circular ink stamp of the Chambre de Commerce applied at lower left. The overall composition is austere, relying entirely on typography with no pictorial vignette. |
