| 表面の説明 | Green letterpress note on cream paper with a dense text underprint repeating the issuer name across the entire field. At centre, a detailed line-engraved vignette of the west façade of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens dominates the design. To the left, the denomination appears within a circular guilloche frame inscribed '2F.', flanked below by the facsimile signatures of the Trésorier and the Président, with the issuer legend 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'AMIENS' in the upper-left corner and 'DEUX FRANCS' in large bold type to the upper right. |

| 裏面の説明 | Green letterpress reverse on cream paper, enclosed by a Greek-key guilloche border. Three heraldic shields — the arms of Amiens at centre flanked by the arms of Doullens and Montdidier — are positioned along the upper register. The denomination 'DEUX FRANCS' is set in large capitals at the top centre, beneath which the guarantee and redemption conditions appear in two columns of text flanking the year '1922' and a foliate ornament. A framed cartouche at the bottom centre carries the serial number printed in red. |

The Chambre de Commerce d'Amiens issued emergency fractional notes well into the 1920s because the postwar coin shortage in northern France dragged on far longer than Paris-based authorities anticipated. Amiens had been within German artillery range for much of the war, and economic normalization in the Somme region lagged behind less damaged departments. The 2 Francs denomination filled a gap that the national mint still couldn't reliably supply in metal.
Printed locally by the Imprimerie du Progrès de la Somme — a press that operated on the Rue de la République until its wartime destruction in 1944 — the note carries a watermark as its sole security provision. Modest, but consistent with how most provincial chambres de commerce approached the problem.
