Reverse description Central field displays the denomination numeral 2 above the word FRANCS in bold raised Latin letters, flanked by two symmetrical sprigs of olive or grain, their stems meeting at the base of the field. Below the Latin denomination, the Arabic equivalent يقبل ٢ في فرنكين (Good for 2 Francs) is inscribed in two lines. The legend BON POUR arcs along the upper periphery in Latin capitals. A continuous beaded rim frames the entire design, consistent with the obverse treatment.
