| Reverse description | Cruciform arrangement of the four crowned shields of England, Scotland, Ireland, and the Hanoverian arms, set about a central Garter star. National emblems — rose, thistle, shamrock, and leek — appear on sceptres placed in the four angles between the shields. The date 19-37 is divided above the central device, and the legend is disposed around the outer field within a beaded border. The overall design closely follows the standard double-florin reverse type used for British coinage of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. |
