Reverse description Central circle containing the Arabic numeral '2' above the denomination inscription 'فلس', flanked by radiating lines that divide the field into segments. By 1952, Faisal II was still a minor under regent rule, and Iraq's coin production remained contracted to the Royal Mint in London. The 1952 issue came just months before the November intifada, when widespread riots against the ruling establishment forced the regent Abd al-Ilah to declare martial law and dissolve political parties. Circulated examples from this year entered a country in acute political stress.

KM#110 is the final bronze 2 Fils type before the 1958 revolution ended the Hashemite monarchy entirely.
