| Obverse description | Central device consisting of the twelve-pointed sun emblem of the Kuomintang, featuring a circular central disc surrounded by twelve triangular rays filling the inner field. Six Chinese characters arranged radially around the sun read the date legend in the field. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous Greek key (meander) decorative border running along the rim, characteristic of Republican Chinese coinage of this period. |
