Obverse description Hammered copper flan bearing a bold two-line Arabic legend in the field, executed in the cursive Naskh style characteristic of Gujarat Sultanate coinage. The inscription occupies the full diameter of the coin and is divided by a horizontal line, with the sultan's name and royal titles rendered in raised relief. The legends are boldly struck but show the typical irregularity of hand-hammered provincial coinage, with the flan slightly uneven at the periphery. The surface displays an olive-green patina consistent with long-buried copper.
