| Obverse description | The nickel-brass centre depicts a detailed naturalistic scene of the Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve, featuring a great bittern (Botaurus stellaris) prominently rendered in the foreground, wading at the water's edge amid marsh vegetation including reeds and aquatic plants. In the middle ground, the wetland landscape extends across the field with stylised water surfaces and scattered waterfowl in flight above.
