| Obverse description | The inner disc features a stylised female face rendered in profile, surrounded by an intricate design of flowing, densely packed female given names in Catalan, their continuous interlocking arrangement evoking solidarity and collective identity. Among the names, the word 'VICTORIA' is deliberately repeated as a symbolic reference to the achievement of women's suffrage. The surrounding legend reads '50 ANYS DEL SUFRAGI UNIVERSAL FEMENI ANDORRA 1970-2020', commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of universal women's suffrage in Andorra. The outer ring of the coin bears the twelve stars of the European Union flag in relief. |
