| Obverse description | Central bimetallic inner disk depicting the Romanesque tower of the Church of Santa Coloma rising above a rocky mountainous landscape, rendered in fine relief. The tower, with its characteristic circular form and small window openings, dominates the composition within the gold-coloured centre. Twelve stars encircle the design within the outer ring, following the standard European coinage convention. The legend ANDORRA appears at the lower left of the outer ring and the date 2004 at the lower right, both in raised Latin characters. |
