Descrizione del dritto	The obverse features a right-facing portrait bust of His Majesty Philippe, King of the Belgians, rendered in refined relief. To the left of the effigy, the country identifier 'BE' appears alongside the royal monogram 'FP' positioned above it. Below the portrait, the year of issue is flanked on the left by the mint master mark and on the right by the Royal Mint mark. The design reflects a clean, modern engraving style consistent with Belgian coinage of the period.

Informazioni aggiuntive	Philippe ascended to the Belgian throne in July 2013 following the abdication of his father Albert II — only the second abdication in Belgian royal history — making this the first regular-issue Belgian 2 euro to carry his effigy. The coin entered circulation in 2014 and will remain current for as long as his reign continues, giving the series an open-ended run unusual among eurozone definitive issues.
