正面描述	The obverse features a double portrait in the inner disc, presenting the juxtaposed effigies of Grand Duke Henri I and Grand Duchess Charlotte facing right, engraved by Alain Hoffmann in a bold, contemporary style. A vertical dividing line separates the two overlapping busts, emphasising the commemorative theme of the 90th anniversary of Charlotte's accession to the throne. The legend 'LËTZEBUERG' and the date '2009' appear vertically along the right side of the inner disc. The copper-nickel outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European Union evenly spaced around the circumference.
