| Obverse description | The obverse depicts a panoramic view of the Ħaġar Qim megalithic temple complex, rendered in relief atop a ridge overlooking the south-western coastline of Malta, approximately two kilometres from the village of Qrendi. The legend 'ĦAĠAR QIM TEMPLES' is inscribed along the upper right portion of the field, with the date range '3600 - 3200 BC' positioned beneath it, referencing the prehistoric period of the monument's construction.
