The design commemorates the 550th anniversary of the artist's death. The engraver's initials 'M.A.C.' appear in the lower field. The legend 'SAN MARINO FILIPPO LIPPI 1469' arcs around the upper portion of the inner disc, with the mint mark 'R' and year '2019' completing the inscription.
