| Beschrijving voorzijde | The nickel-brass clad nickel center depicts a stylized effigy of Marianne in left-facing profile, her features rendered in a bold, contemporary linear style evoking the allegorical figure of Liberty. To the right of the bust, a fan-shaped motif with horizontal ribbing suggests the tricolor cockade, while the monogram 'RF' (République Française) appears prominently in the field. Along the left field, an excerpt from Paul Éluard's poem 'Liberté' is inscribed in diagonal lettering: 'Sur toutes les pages lues / Sur toutes les pages blanches / Pierre sang papier ou cendre / J'écris ton nom.'
