| Obverse description | The bimetallic center features a detailed landscape view of the Pula Arena, the renowned first-century Roman amphitheatre located in Pula, Croatia, rendered in fine relief against a textured ground. Cypress trees and a medieval bell tower are visible to the left and right of the monument respectively, adding historical depth to the composition. The curved legend 'GRAD PULA - ARENA' arcs along the upper portion of the inner disc, while 'HRVATSKA 2025.' is inscribed along the lower arc. The copper-nickel outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European Union evenly spaced around the circumference. |
