| Obverse description | The nickel-brass centre features a detailed architectural rendering of Santa María del Naranco, a pre-Romanesque Asturian church near Oviedo, depicted in three-quarter perspective with its characteristic barrel-vaulted nave, open loggias, and stone staircase prominently rendered in fine relief. The legend ESPAÑA arcs along the upper field, with the date 2017 positioned to the right of the edifice.
