| Beschrijving voorzijde | The central disc features a stylised tree whose branches are composed of intertwined letterforms spelling out TARTU RAHU (Treaty of Tartu), commemorating the peace agreement signed between Estonia and Soviet Russia on 2 February 1920 that established Estonia's eastern border and concluded the War of Independence. The country name EESTI appears within the design, accompanied by the commemorative date 02.02.2020 in the field. The engraver's initials appear on the design. The coin's outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European flag in relief. |
