The lower portion of the inner disc bears the inscription 'BRANDENBURG' identifying the featured German federal state, along with the country code 'D' for Germany. The copper-nickel outer ring carries the twelve stars of the European Union arranged in a continuous circle, forming the standard common reverse border design of the eurozone 2-euro series. |
