正面描述	The inner disc of this pattern coin, larger in scale than the issued circulation version, features a dual composition: at right, a depiction of the humanist scholar Erasmus seated and writing, while at left appears the effigy of Queen Beatrix. The two figural elements are divided by a vertical legend reading 'BEATRIX KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN', with the date '2011' and the mintmaster's mark and Royal Dutch Mint privy mark arranged horizontally near the coin's center. The outer ring carries the twelve stars of the European Union, as standard for the euro coinage series.
