| Obverse description | Three-quarter length portrait of Prince Honoré III of Monaco rendered in high relief in the Baroque tradition, depicted in formal 18th-century court dress with an elaborately embroidered coat and lace cravat, facing slightly to the left. The legend 'HONORÉ III' appears to the left of the effigy and 'MONACO' to the right, both in raised Latin capitals. In the lower portion of the field, the commemorative inscription '1720 · Naissance · 2020' records the tercentenary of the prince's birth. The outer copper-nickel ring bears the standard twelve five-pointed stars of the European Union. |
