Beschrijving keerzijde The common reverse of the 2 Euro circulation coinage, designed by Luc Luycx, depicts a geographical map of Western Europe spanning both the inner core and outer ring on the right side of the coin. The denomination 2 EURO is superimposed across the design, with the numeral 2 set in the open field representing the eastern Atlantic Ocean. Twelve five-pointed stars are distributed along the right portion of the outer ring, with six stars above and six below the map of Europe; six vertical relief lines traverse the inner core, visually linking the upper and lower star groups. The designer's initials LL appear in the lower right of the inner core.
