Descrizione del dritto	The national side features a puzuris — a traditional Latvian straw ornament — suspended by a thread and depicted in full from above, its geometric radiating arms occupying the central field of the coin. The inscription LATVIA appears in the upper field, with the year of issue 2024 positioned in the lower field. The design celebrates Latvian folk craft tradition, rendered in fine relief against a plain background.

Descrizione del rovescio	The standard European Union reverse depicts a relief map of Western Europe spanning both the inner core and outer ring, positioned toward the right side of the coin. The bold numeral 2 is prominently placed in the open field representing the eastern Atlantic Ocean, with the legend EURO inscribed to its right. Twelve five-pointed stars, symbolising the member states of the European Union, are arranged in two groups of six on the upper and lower portions of the outer ring, connected visually by six vertical stripes incised across the inner core. The mint mark LL of the Lithuanian Mint appears in the lower portion of the field.
