Obverse description	The inner disc features a stylised cancer awareness ribbon prominently centred in the field, superimposed over a continuous electrocardiogram (ECG) heartbeat line that traverses the width of the design, symbolising the fight for life. Three concentric arc lines frame the upper portion of the composition, lending depth and dynamism to the motif. The country designation 'BE' and the date '2024' appear to the upper right, accompanied by the engraver's initials 'IB' at lower left. Below the central design, a two-line bilingual legend reads 'Lutte contre le cancer' in French and 'Strijd tegen kanker' in Dutch, with the mint mark of the Royal Dutch Mint appearing beneath. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European Union.
