| 背面描述 | The standard reverse design for the 2 Euro denomination, as adopted by the European Union, features a geographical map of Europe spanning both the inner core and the outer ring on the right side of the coin. The bold numeral 2 is positioned in the open field representing the eastern Atlantic Ocean to the left, with the inscription EURO to its right, superimposed over the continental map. Twelve five-pointed stars are arranged along the outer ring, six above and six below the map of Europe, with six vertical stripes incised across the inner core visually uniting the upper and lower star groups. |

The National and University Library in Ljubljana — completed in 1941 to a design by Jože Plečnik — was built on the site of a former palace destroyed in the 1895 earthquake that reshaped much of the city's architecture. Plečnik's insistence on rough-faced stone for the façade was considered deeply unconventional at the time, and the building remains one of the most discussed works of interwar European architecture outside the mainstream modernist canon.
Slovenia has used its 2 euro commemorative program with notable restraint, issuing selectively rather than annually flooding the market.
