| Obverse description | The inner core features a large numeral '75' in the field, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, overlaid by a hand holding a quill pen in the act of signing a document, rendered in fine relief. A stylized olive branch extends upward from the numeral toward a cluster of small decorative stars in the upper right of the core. The crowned royal monogram 'H' of Grand Duke Henri appears in the lower left of the core. The legends 'DECLARATION SCHUMAN', '09.05.1950', 'LUXEMBOURG', and '2025' are inscribed around the design within the core, with the engraver's initials 'CP' and a mint mark present near the lower rim of the core. Twelve stars of the European Union encircle the outer ring. |

Issued to mark the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, Luxembourg holds particular claim to this commemoration — Robert Schuman was born in Clausen, Luxembourg City, in 1886, though he represented France throughout his political career and served as French Foreign Minister when he delivered the May 9, 1950 proposal that became the founding architecture of European integration. Grand Duke Henri's appearance on the national side follows the standard dynastic convention for Luxembourg's commemorative euros.
