| Obverse description | Central design features a right-facing effigy of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, depicted with an elaborate feathered hair ornament, set within a raised equilateral triangle occupying the central field. Twelve six-pointed stars encircle the triangle along the inner border, evoking the European coinage tradition.
