Obverse description Facing effigy of Charlemagne in medieval regal attire occupies the central field, with the date divided on either side of the portrait. The country name ANDORRA appears in the lower portion of the coin. The design reflects a stylised heraldic rendering characteristic of early Euro-era pattern coinage.

Reverse description The large numeral '2' dominates the left field, denoting the face value. To the right, a set of scales of justice is depicted with diagonal line embellishments radiating across the field, evoking light or divine rays.
